WHO ARE WE?
Mind Muscat is a thriving community of artists
coming from all walks of life from the Sultanate of
Oman, formed to revive their talents and unleash the
creativity within. It serves as a platform where there
is no competition or comparison, but only a shared
love for drawing, painting, and other allied arts.
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Born from a need for local artists to have a place to
meet and connect with other artists, Mind Muscat
was established on April 12, 2013. As a non-profit
artists’ hub for creativity and unhindered expression,
it provides the members with an opportunity to
develop new skills and exhibit their works.
In partnership with Al Hayat Association, the launch
event held at Intercontinental Hotel Muscat was
inaugurated by the renowned artist from India,
Mr C.N. Karunakaran, in the presence of Jannab Al
Sayyid Taimur bin Faisal Al Said, the guest of honour
for the occasion. With over 500 guests at the event,
the launch also had a painting and photography
exhibition that showcased more than 100 paintings
and 20 photographs.
